Citizenergy welcomes Enerfip

06/09/2016

Citizenergy is happy to welcome Enerfip to its growing group of featured crowdfunding platforms and cooperatives, bringing the total to 14. The fourth French platform to join, Enerfip was launched by four friends in late 2014. The crowdfunding platform's projects, one of which is already featured on Citizenergy, are open to interested parties worldwide via loan and equity based models. The minimum investment amounts to €100 for projects that, according to Enerfip, bring rates of return ranging from four to six percent over anywhere from two to six years. Since its launch in September 2015, six renewable energy projects have been successfully funded via the platform, which prides itself on providing a direct link between renewable energy project developers and the public while allowing individuals to be in charge of what their money is supporting.

Enerfip's first project to be featured on Citizenergy, a 1076kW solar project by the name of Iris, is currently open for investment.
