The platform not only hosts community energy projects across the UK, it also helps groups in the UK form cooperative structures or renewable energy societies themselves and take charge of their own energy futures. This unique capacity building approach has helped form over 70 community energy societies raising over GBP 15 Million since Sharenergy’s founding in 2011.
