Zagreb, Croatia. Citizenergy made a splash at the dynamic Zagreb Crowdfunding Convention, held on 17 and 18 September. On stage next to headliners from platforms Goteo, which has achieved huge successes in the area of civic crowdfunding and Indigogo, and industry leader, members of the Citizenergy team explained the opportunities of crowdfunding for renewables to a motivated crowd of young entrepreneurs and investors. Citizenergy was featured both in a special comparative panel, helping the public understand the difference between different crowdfunding platforms and approaches, as well as in a panel dedicated specifically to the Citizenergy project itself.

The Zagreb event kicked off Citizenergy’s 5th consortium strategy meeting, parts of which were filmed by a highly enthusiastic documentary maker by the name of Adam Dzienis, who was interested in the project.
