Citizenergy's first hydro project is online

22/01/2016

Courteron is a small village on the Seine river, south of Troyes. At is entrance are located, in a channel between three smal islands, a water mill used to produce electricity for the village.

The project will give a second life to the site and include three Archimedes' screws for a total green electricity generation capacity of 135kW.

The project promoter - Les eaux vives de Courteron - worked with Lumo to propose 140k€ through the website, for citizens to invest alongside the bank, with the same rate and maturity.
