Fast charging Solar stations for electric vehicles is a new concept implemented by a company called ELECTROLINERAS SOSTENIBES (EESS) that will help the development of electric vehicles as the transport of the future in Spain. This first Solar Charging Station will form part of a network of 7 fast charging stations that will be implemented in strategic points in the region of Segovia. Each solar station has been designed by INGEWORLD and is composed of 90 solar panels of 320 Wp each, 1 inverter of 30 kW and 2 fast charging equipments. The vehicles will be directly charged by the solar panels when they produce electricity and by 100% renewable energy (certified by the energy provider called OHMIA) during the rest of the time (or in case of bad weather conditions). EESS also sells electric vehicles to customers that can recharge for free in any of the EESS charging stations during 5 years. Any other electric vehicle will be able to use the station for a competitive fee.
